Dark Webathon-2023: Rally For Actionable Intelligence

The Anti-Human Trafficking Intelligence Initiative (ATII) is hosting Dark Webathon-2023, a hackathon-inspired tech for good event that will bring together the brightest minds in the industry to yield actionable intelligence with the goal of fighting child exploitation and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) by detecting, investigating, and reporting data found on the dark web and ATII's CSAM Information Sharing initiative.

The event will take place from June 14-19, 2023. Participants will have access to ATII's unique darkweb intel platform, which includes a large dataset of dark web data, as well as sponsored tools and services from industry leaders such as Maltego and CipherTrace.

The competition will be divided into two phases:

  • Investigations: In the first phase, participants will have 48 hours to investigate a dataset of dark web data and identify potential traffickers.

  • Lightning Round: In the second phase, participants will have 24 hours to investigate a new dataset of dark web data and submit their findings to a panel of judges.

The top teams in each phase will be awarded prizes, and the overall winning team will receive a $10,000 grand prize.

Dark Webathon-2023 is a unique opportunity for individuals and teams with a passion for fighting child exploitation to use their skills and knowledge to make a real difference. To learn more and register for the event, please visit: https://followmoneyfightslavery.org/darkwebathon/
